A small fire in western Pueblo County continues to burn Monday morning.

The fire ignited Sunday afternoon near Baxter and Clennin Road in the Rye area, about a half-hour outside Pueblo. The cause is unknown.

The fire is only 2 acres, but crews aren't taking any chances, especially with how dry conditions have been.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says no structures have burned and no evacuation orders have been made.

The fire is 75 percent contained.
