The Cañon City Police Department says it conducted an undercover sting operation Thursday, which resulted in six arrests.

The department says officers posing as flower delivery persons worked to find suspects with outstanding warrants.

Police say many of the suspects had evaded law enforcement for several months.

Photos of three of the suspects are available: Rene Veenstra, who was wanted on a forgery charge; Patrick McGarry, who was wanted for an alleged traffic offense; and Carlos Leal, accused of larceny.

We don't have pictures of the other three: Courtney Campbell, who is accused of DUI; Jamie Nelson, wanted on theft and fraud charges; and a juvenile who was wanted on a drug charge.
