The victim in a deadly shooting in Colorado Springs has been identified as 24-year-old Andrew Aguilar.
Police say no suspect is in custody at this time.
Officers say they found the victim in an apartment on the southeast side of Colorado Springs after his girlfriend called 911 to report that he had been shot. The victim was already dead when police got to the scene on University Drive, which is near Airport and Academy.
The 911 call came in just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have not released any suspect information, but say they believe the incident is isolated, and does not pose immediate danger to the community. Neighbors living at the apartment complex, however, say that does not make them feel any safer. They tell 11 News its scary that something like this happened so close to home.
Aguilar's death marks the 19th homicide in Colorado Springs for 2013.
