Shooting Victim Found In Springs Motel Room

A call from an Albuquerque, N. M. area code alerted police to a possible shooting in a Springs motel early Thursday morning.

The caller asked police to check on the welfare of a man staying at the Travel Inn on South Nevada, and gave indication that the man may have been shot.

When officers arrived, they found the man in his motel room with two gunshot wounds to his lower leg. At this time, the circumstances around the shooting are still under investigation.

11 News is remaining in contact with police, and will provide further updates as soon as new information becomes available.
