Shed Catches Fire South Of Colorado Springs

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a shed fire.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a small fire outside a home south of Colorado Springs.

The fire was reported around 7:40 p.m. Monday on the 1700 block of Whitehall Road, in Stratmoor Hills. A shed outside one of the homes had caught fire.

Stratmoor Hills firefighters responded to the scene, while El Paso County deputies helped with traffic control in the area. Whitehall Road is located near South Academy and I-25.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the home. There were also no reported injuries.
