Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood are visiting the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge outside Denver.
Salazar and LaHood plan to make an announcement there Monday afternoon about a proposed trail and open space network that will connect hundreds of miles of trails in the metro area. The Rocky Mountain Greenway will provide trail access between three wildlife refuges -- Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Rocky Flats and Two Ponds -- as well as Rocky Mountain National Park and community trail systems.
LaHood is coming to Colorado after a planned visit to Glacier National Park in Montana in the morning.
