A strong cold front will move through Southern Colorado today. It will bring much colder temperatures (especially in the afternoon), strong wind, a few rain/snow showers, and blowing dust to Southern Colorado. Light snow accumulations and poor visibility will be possible for a time this afternoon and evening north of Colorado Springs and south/southwest of Pueblo. Firefighters are assessing how much damage was done to a home, after an SUV slammed into the side of it.
Colorado Springs police say two children where among the occupants of the vehicle at the time of the accident. No one was hurt.
Firefighters are determining if the home near East Cheyenne Road and Falcon Ave. is safe, or if the occupants will have to stay elsewhere while repairs are done.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
