It was a startling moment for one Springs driver after someone threw a rock at his car.

Quentin Clark said that at first, he thought it was a gunshot that had shattered his back window.

"I froze, I freaked out...instantly I tensed up and hit the brake when I thought I heard a gunshot, and then when my window smashed my adrenaline was going."

After police investigated, they found a rock. Officers believe the person who threw it was in another car.

Clark was driving near the intersection of Rangewood and Dublin, near Woodmen late Thursday night when the incident occurred. He said when it happened, he saw a black 4-door sedan with the window down. The vehicle peeled off after his window broke.

If you have any information that can help police, call 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
