Research Reveals Errors In Parole System, Decades Old

Some alarming information released Monday about our state's prison system.

A researcher for the department says there are errors in the system that made it almost impossible for the state to determine whether the parole board made good choices about which prisoners to parole.

Apparently this has been going on for the past decade.

Parole in Colorado has come under close scrutiny after corrections chief Tom Clements was murdered.

His accused killer Evan Ebel was released from prison too soon because of a court error.
