A "a dust devil" that moved in over a prescribed burn area at the Rocky Mountain National Arsenal near Denver was caught on camera.
Tumbleweeds can be seen flying all over the place as flames shoot into the air.
Thomas Rogers is a firefighter who caught it all on camera. He says in all the years he's been a firefighter, he has never seen anything like it.
Rogers said the dust devil drew the fire in, and then started moving it toward the firefighters. They had to make a run for it, in order to get to safety.
"It was definitely interesting to see. I'm a fire buff as well as a weather buff and here I had a weather event and a fire event coming together and it was just really amazing to watch and I'm just glad I was able to capture it on video," Rogers said.
The dust devil ended causing an extra acre to burn.
