Pueblo police are hoping surveillance footage will help capture two robbery suspects.
The suspects, a man and a woman, are accused of running out of Walgreens with unpaid merchandise after the man's Walmart Visa card was declined. Police say after the card was declined, the woman grabbed several bags of items and ran out the door. When an employee tried to block the exit, the male suspect knocked him down.
Police say employees then chased the suspects to the parking lot. The male suspect threw one of the employees to the ground, while the woman hit another employee in the head. The couple then got away with the stolen items, worth around $330.
The incident happened just before 8:45 p.m. on April 29 at the Walgreens on 1520 W. 4th St. Both suspects were caught on camera. Police are hoping that by releasing these images, the public will be able to help identify them.
The woman is believed to be in her early 20s. She has medium-length brown hair, and was wearing a black hat and a gray or light blue outer shirt over a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants.
The man is described as being in his mid-to-late 20s with short brown hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, black shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes at the time of the robbery.
If you have any information on this incident or the suspects, you are asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP.
