PUEBLO, CO. Police in Pueblo are looking for an armed robbery suspect.
Officers responded to an armed robbery at the Loaf N' Jug on the 2000 block of Oakshire just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
At first, the suspect appeared to be just another customer, entering the store and walking up to the counter to ask for cigarettes. But after asking once, he allegedly pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded a second time that the clerk give him cigarettes--"and everything you've got."
After getting cigarettes and cash, the suspect fled the store, heading east on Oakshire.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with a stocky build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black baseball cap, a long sleeve black shirt, white undershirt and gray jeans at the time of the incident.
If you have any information on this suspect you are asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (7867).
