Power has been restored to 1,800 customers of Mountain View Electric near Black Forest.
The outage began at 6 p.m. Monday and power was restored to nearly all customers by 7:30 p.m. It took a little longer to get everyone back on line.
The utility says there was a distribution breaker malfunction, and they re-routed power to get the electricity back on.
Mountain View Electric says the problem was at a substation at Black Forest and Hodgen Roads.
