Power Restored to Downtown Pueblo

The power was out in downtown Pueblo for a short time this afternoon around 2 p.m.

Black Hills Energy reports that the power outage lasted for approximately 15 minutes and affected the entire downtown area.

The outage was caused when equipment malfunctioned while workers were working at a substation.

Pueblo Police reported their lines were down because of the outage, but they have been restored. 911 functionality was never down.
