A traffic stop early Wednesday morning led Colorado Springs police to three arrests when they discovered the vehicle was stolen. Officers also found it was full of electronics that may be linked to other crimes.
Police say they stopped the stolen Chevrolet Suburban with three people inside on the 700 block of N. Academy Boulevard at 2:05 a.m. They later discovered that it was reported stolen on December 27.
Before the vehicle was returned to its owners, police found a variety of electronic equipment in the back. They say the evidence could link the suspects to mail theft or theft from vehicles, in addition to the charges they’re already facing.
Tiffany Pappadakis, 20, Andreas Green, 27, and Nickalas Jensen, 30, were all arrested. Their charges include theft by receiving, attempt to influence a public official and narcotics related charges.
