Police search for suspect who allegedly fired shots at local restaurant

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly fired shots at a McDonald's restaurant.

A bullet was recovered at the scene, and police say the glass in one of the restaurant's doors was shattered.

When police and deputies arrived, the suspect reportedly had already run away on foot, but police say after doing interviews with witnesses, they know who the suspect is.

Deputies, police, and police dogs searched the area for the suspect, but didn't find him.

No injuries were reported.

It happened just before 1:45 a.m. Sunday at the McDonald's located on the 5700 block of Constitution Ave. in Colorado Springs.

The investigation is ongoing.
