A murder more than 60 miles from slain Department of Corrections Director Tom Clements' home could be connected.

Nathan Leon, 27, disappeared March 17 while delivering pizzas in Golden, Colo. His body was found six hours later, riddled with gunshot wounds.

A pizza box and delivery driver's shirt were reportedly found in the back of a car involved in a high-speed chase in Texas Thursday. The suspect driving that car is currently the prime suspect in Clements' murder.

Denver police said Friday that they are confident the Texas suspect is connected to Leon's death.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that Leon was killed for his shirt to give Clements' killer better odds at luring him to the door. Clements was killed after dark Tuesday night when he answered his door at his home near Monument.

The shirt found in the suspect vehicle Thursday was a Domino's shirt, which is where Leon worked.

Leon's devastated family said he delivered pizza to provide for his wife and three daughters, and recalled him as an incredible father. A memorial was held for him Wednesday night at the location where his body was found.
