A woman made her escape after the man she says was holding her captive fell asleep.
Springs police say the woman had been forced from her home at gunpoint by two men Tuesday evening, then driven to the Sun Springs Motel on South Nevada in her own car, which she had reported stolen the day before. One of the suspects was identified as the woman's ex-boyfriend.
The victim was allegedly forced to stay in a motel room for several hours. When she noticed her ex dozing off, she ran from the room and called 911. Responding officers found her ex in the motel room and took him into custody. He has not been identified. The second suspect has not been located. Police have not said if he was ever at the motel.
The victim was not harmed during the incident.
