Colorado Springs Police are searching for a robbery suspect.

Just before 4 a.m. on Thursday officers were called to the Walgreens Store on North Nevada and Fillmore.

A store employee says a man walked into the store wearing a dark coat and a bandana over his face. He had his hand in his pockets. The suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at the store clerk and demanded money. The clerk put money from the cash register into a Walgreens’ plastic bag.

The store manager heard the commotion and walked up front. The suspect then confronted her and demanded money from another register. After he got that money he took off.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5’3” with a thin build. If you know anything about this call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
