Shots were fired behind the Sears in the Broadmoor Towne Center off Southgate around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday.
Investigators say a man in a truck shot at the tires of another truck, at least three times. Now police need help tracking down both drivers.
Police say a man left the scene in a white or silver Honda Ridgeline truck, towing a flat bed trailer, after shooting at an older model blue Toyota truck. 11 News found that truck as it was being towed, and saw that the bullet struck the tire and caused it to go flat.
Investigators tell 11 News the driver of that truck, abandoned his car near Platte and El Paso in downtown Colorado Springs. Then he ran away.
After searching both locations, police were not able to find either the suspect or victim, but did find one live round and 3 shell casings near the area of 2000 Southgate Road.
The investigation continues.
