Maybe crime can be exhausting: police say one burglar opted to take a nap instead of trying to get away from the home she had just broken into.
The burglar allegedly broke into a home east of downtown Colorado Springs, helped herself to valuables--then caught a few ZZZs in the homeowner's bed. The homeowner came back Friday afternoon and found the suspect sound asleep.
Police say the suspect was still sleeping when officers got there. She was taken into custody and is currently in the CJC on a $10,000 bond, according to jail records. The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Taylor Gregg.
