A man is facing charges after allegedly pulling a gun and pointing it at people inside a vehicle while they were stopped at a stop light.

The alleged victims say a man walked up to their vehicle at Austin Bluffs and Barnes in Colorado Springs.

Springs police say 37-year-old Jay Ray Moody matched the suspect description and they found him walking along Austin Bluffs.

Police say Moody ran from officers, but they caught him and took him into custody. A gun was found near the place where Moody started running.

Moody faces charges of menacing and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
