An observant passerby noticed someone with a flashlight roaming around inside a Springs veterinarian clinic Sunday night and called police.

The witness said he also heard the sound of glass breaking.

Officers arrived at Cat Tails, located on the corner of Star Ranch Road and Highway 115, and spotted a man standing inside near a broken window. The suspect was ordered out and arrested. Police say he was carrying several items stolen from the business.

It's unclear exactly what the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Thom Marzak, was allegedly after. The items he is accused of stealing have not been disclosed, but it does not appear he was after money.
