Colorado Springs police are searching for suspects after a pair of armed robberies Wednesday night.
The first happened at the Diamond Shamrock on East Fillmore just before 9:30 p.m. Police tell 11 News the suspect was armed with either a shotgun or a rifle and he was wearing a bandana to hide his face.
He got away with money and merchandise. No one was hurt.
The second robbery happened at 11:30 p.m. at the 7-11 on West Colorado Ave. In that robbery, the suspect also used either a rifle or a shotgun and got away with cash.
The suspect in that case is described as a hispanic man in his 20s, about 5 foot 10 inches tall with a thin build.
Springs police have not said if they think the two crimes are related.
