PUEBLO, Colo. A man wanted for a parole violation was taken into custody after a standoff at his home Tuesday afternoon.
A patrol officer reportedly recognized Joseph Carrillo, 21, and followed him to the home. Authorities spent the next couple of hours trying to get him and others to come out of the house.
It happened on Alma Ave. and Nuckolls Ave. in Pueblo.
Nine people, including Carrillo, eventually came out of the house. All were questioned, and five were later released. Carillo, Crystal Gallegos, Rosemary Hernandez and Leroy Atencio were taken into custody.
Gallegos, like Carillo, was wanted for a parole violation. Hernandez was taken into custody on an unrelated municipal warrant. It's unknown what Atencio was wanted for.
The incident started at 1:05 p.m. Streets in the area were blocked off until 5 p.m.
