Traffic is moving again on the interstate after I-25 was shut down at Bijou while police tried to talk down a man threatening to jump off a bridge.

Witnesses spotted the man and reported him to police. Police officers and firefighters responded, and were successful in getting the man down unharmed.

The incident caused heavy backups on both sides of the interstate. Some witnesses told 11 News that traffic looked like it was backed up for miles.

All lanes were reopened before 11 a.m.
