A man is facing DUI charges after allegedly leading police on a short chase.
He is the second of two drivers accused of operating the same vehicle under the influence.
It started when an officer reportedly saw a vehicle driving with no headlights run a red light at Academy Blvd. and N. Carefree Circle in Colorado Springs around 3:00 a.m.
When officers pulled the vehicle over, the driver, 24-year-old James McGee, allegedly got out and ran, leaving a passenger sleeping in the vehicle.
Police say they ran after McGee, tazed him and took him into custody. He is facing multiple charges including driving on a suspended license and DUI.
While police were dealing with him, they say the man who had been asleep in the vehicle, 23-year-old Glenn Decarlo, woke up, jumped into the driver's seat and took off.
Another officer spotted the vehicle and a short chase reportedly followed before Decarlo stopped.
Police say Decarlo is the owner of the vehicle. He's also facing traffic and DUI charges.
