A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Colorado Springs Police say an "at risk" adult who was reported missing from an assisted living center has been located.
Ronald Cunningham, 71, reportedly walked away from his assisted living center on Monterey Rd Saturday afternoon. Police say he suffers from several medical conditions.
Cunningham was last seen at a restaurant in the downtown area. He also has ties to the area around East Boulder St. and could be in that area.
Police say he was located Sunday at 326 E. Platte in Colorado Springs. He was reportedly asking an officer for a place to say. A police officer at that location recognized Cunningham and returned him to the facility and he is now safe.
