A pedestrian is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol when he was hit by a vehicle. Police say the pedestrian was not in a cross walk at the time.

The accident happened at 3:00 a.m. on North Powers Blvd. near N Carefree Circle July 27.

Police say the vehicle was traveling north on Powers when the pedestrian was hit.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
