State Patrol responded to an auto versus pedestrian crash Friday night, May 3, on Highway 85 and B Street.

The pedestrian, a 31-year-old man, was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The driver did not need medical assistance.

Troopers don't believe the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but they are investigating whether or not the pedestrian had drugs or alcohol in his system.
