One man was charged with DUI in an auto-pedestrian accident that also sent one man to the hospital.
According to Pueblo Police, Sunday night, June 23 at around 10 p.m. an Infiniti G35 was traveling southeast in the 400-block of Abriendo Avenue when the car hit a 68-year-old man. The man was crossing the street mid-block.
After he was hit by the car, he was thrown a short distance. He was transported to Parkview Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car, Vance Vasquez, 20, was arrested for DUI. Three other people in the car, one man and two women ranging in ages from 18-20; they were not treated for any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
