No one was hurt when a soldier barricaded himself inside a home on Fort Carson. A spokesperson says military police were able to resolve the incident peacefully.
It happened at about 9:30 p.m. July 13.
No shots were fired during the incident.
Other residents in the area told 11 News they were instructed to stay inside their homes during the incident. Fort Carson confirms the area was cordoned off as a safety precaution.
A spokesman says the soldier involved may have been suffering from emotional issues and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
