For years astronaut Neil Armstrong insisted he'd meant to say one small step for "a" man -- not the commonly heard "for man."
Now, a new study says Armstrong might have actually said exactly what he meant to. Researchers out of Michigan State and Ohio State universities studied how people speak in Armstrong's native central Ohio.
They found that often "for" and "for a" sound similar there.
