Deputies blocked off a southern Colorado neighborhood Wednesday night while they responded to an alleged domestic violence incident.
The suspect reportedly wouldn't come out of the home.
It started around 5:20 p.m. near Chippewa and White Mountain. That is in Cimarron Hills.
The woman who called authorities was able to get out of the home. When deputies arrived, they say the suspect was inside, alone.
The roads were blocked off and SWAT was called when the suspect reportedly would not come out. Eventually the situation was resolved peacefully; an El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the suspect came out "quietly" and was taken into custody.
The Sheriff's Office has not released his name or what charges, if any, will be filed against him.
