Multiple crashes in the Colorado Springs area are slowed the morning commute Tuesday.

A crash on northbound I-25 near Tejon had no reported injuries, but caused heavy backups on the interstate.

Several crashes reportedly involved several vehicles, including one at Woodmen and Rangewood with three cars involved, and an accident at Hancock Expressway and Milton Proby involved four cars. There were also three separate crashes, with a total of seven or eight cars involved, on Dublin near Powers.

Police say there were no significant injuries in any of these crashes, and figure weather was the likely cause.

Multiple crashes and slide-offs have also been reported on Highway 115 south of Southgate Road.

State Patrol responded to a rollover on I-25 between the Fountain and Fort Carson exits (mile markers 128 and 132). Several other accidents have been reported in that area, but State Patrol says none are serious.

Colorado Springs Police also responded to two accidents around 10 a.m. on southbound I-25 near Uintah and Bijou that had traffic backed up in that area for some time.

According to CDOT, I-25 between Pueblo and Denver is icy in spots, while scattered snow showers and ice have been reported on Highway 24 between Divide and Limon.

El Paso County says that they have had 35 plow truck dispatched across the county since 2 a.m.
