A man who survived a motorcycle accident wants to thank the people who saved his life.
The crash happened Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 115 and Cheyenne Meadows Road. Police say a van turned on a red light, crossing in front of an oncoming motorcycle. The motorcyclist was ejected after he crashed into the van.
The victim says a paramedic and police officer, both off-duty, got him breathing again after they stopped to help. The victim was then transported to the hospital with serious injuries and never got to thank them for what they did.
The victim, an off-duty deputy himself, says he hopes they come forward so he can do so.
