If you are looking to buy a home we have some good news for you - some mortgage rates have hit a record low.
According to Freddie Mac,15-year fixed rate loans fell to 2.61 percent this week. That's down a fraction from last week.
The most popular mortgage -- the 30-year fixed rate - is hovering just above its record low.
Freddie Mac's chief economist says the low rates are boosting the housing market.
