More than 1,000 people now have power again in Peyton, after a faulty insulator caused a circuit to malfunction at the Peyton substation.
Mountain View Electric spokesman Darryl Edwards says the insulator tripped off a circuit at the Peyton substation, causing the outage. The company does not know what caused the problems with the insulator.
