Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
The minimum wage rate is going up in several states starting Tuesday.
According to the non-profit advocacy group National Employment Law Project, workers in Colorado and nine other states can expect a ten to fifteen cent raise in the new year.
This change will impact 855,000 workers. States are required to pay at least the same rate as federal minimum wage, which has been set at $7.25 an hour since 2009.
In Colorado, the current minimum wage pay rate is $7.64 an hour.
