A loving, hard-working husband and father was remembered in a memorial service Wednesday morning in Lafayette, Colo.
Nathan Leon, 27, disappeared March 17 while delivering pizzas to a truck stop in Golden, Colo. His body was found six hours later, riddled with gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe the suspect in Colorado prison chief Tom Clements' March 19 murder is also linked to Leon's death. A delivery uniform and pizza carrier were found in the back of Evan Ebel's vehicle, who died in a shootout in Texas last week. An analysis of shell casings from the Texas scene revealed that they came from the same weapon that was used to shoot Clements.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that Leon was killed for his shirt to give Clements' killer better odds at luring him to the door.
Leon's family says he delivered pizzas to support his wife and three daughters.
