Police say a man walked into a Target store in the Denver suburb of Aurora and fired a single shot into the ceiling, but no injuries have been reported.
Aurora Police Sgt. Cassidee Carlson says the man fled after the incident Friday night.
Carlson says the man was wearing a ski mask. She says he walked to the store's pharmacy at about 6:30 p.m., pulled out a handgun and fired into the ceiling.
She says it's not clear if anything was taken.
11 News called Target stores in Colorado Springs and the corporate office asking them that very question if there are precautions stores here can take to keep the local stores safe.
As of Friday night, we hadn’t heard back, of course we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
