Man Stabbed during Fight at Intersection


A man is in the hospital after being stabbed in the face,neck and chest. Police say it happened when men from two vehicles got into a fight at a Colorado Springs intersection.

It happened around 12:40 a.m. near Harrison Road and Rand Ave. That's on the south side of Colorado Springs near I-25 and Lake Ave.

Police say they don't know why the fight started. They say at first, only two men were involved.

After one of the men reportedly pulled out a knife and started stabbing the other, police say the victim's wife got involved and tried to help her husband.

According to police, the victim suffered life-threatening injuries from stab wounds in the face, neck and chest. The wife was reportedly stabbed once in the arm.

Police say they don't have much of a suspect description, but they say he got away in a dark colored Land Rover.
