A high angle rescue crew was called to Gold Camp Rd. on the west side of Colorado Springs Friday night after a man fell about 50 feet.
The 41-year-old man was brought up the rugged hill on a stretcher. Police said Sunday the man may have suffered a broken leg.
Police are investigating, but say they don't know what the man was doing in the area, or if he was with a group. If it turns out he was climbing in a prohibited area, he could be ticketed.
The fall happened at approximately 9:40 p.m. Friday on the 1600 block of Gold Camp Road. Firefighters cleared the scene around 11:40 p.m.
