Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A Springs man was accosted by three suspects while on the way to a friend's apartment early Saturday morning.
The three men approached the victim in the parking lot of the Grandview Apartments on 2500 E. Pikes Peak around 4:30 a.m. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to empty his pockets. After taking several personal items, the men drove off.
The victim went to a nearby 7-Eleven and called police. He was uninjured in the encounter.
Police describe the suspects as black men in their 20s, all about 6 feet tall or an inch under, medium builds. They were dressed in dark clothing and wearing hoodies. They may have left the scene in a gold 4-door vehicle. It's unknown which way they went.
If anyone has information on this crime, call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
