Pueblo police say a man was hit while crossing Highway 50 near Troy Ave. in Pueblo.
The driver who allegedly hit the man left the scene of the accident. According to police a witness followed the driver and police were able to arrest him.
The man who was hit is 49 years old and from Pueblo. Police have not released his name. He was in critical condition Saturday night.
The driver was arrested on suspected DUI.
