A Springs man faces allegations of trafficking several underage girls across the Front Range for sex.
Kavion Lydion Powell, 28, was arrested by Springs police on Valentine's Day.
Authorities say a father contacted them last September, concerned that his teen daughter was involved in prostitution. Further investigation revealed that several girls from Colorado Springs were being transported across the Front Range for sex.
Police say Powell helped advertise and transport the girls.
Powell faces charges of inducement of child prostitution, soliciting for child prostitution, procurement of a child, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. All are felony charges.
Police ask the public to notify them if they know the identities of any victims or suspects in human trafficking cases in the Springs area. CSPD can be reached at 444-7000, or tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
