A man is in jail after police say he tried to lure two children into his car for sexual purposes.
According to a report issued today by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, they received information about a possible enticement of a child near King Elementary School on April 11.
The incident took place just a few blocks from the school one day earlier, on April 10, on Burroback Court near Caballero Avenue. When officers responded to the call, they were told a man approached two young girls while he was driving a car, and he asked them if they wanted to perform oral sex on him.
The victims provided a description of the man, as well as a partial license plate.
On April 18, while patrolling near King Elementary, a sheriff's deputy noticed a vehicle and driver matching that description.
The driver, Justin Nooner, 27, was arrested and charged with "enticement of a child', which is a class 4 felony. He has been jailed on a $3,000 bond.
11 News has learned Nooner is a soldier with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
School District 11 says they have been getting a number of calls from parents concerned that this took place near the King Elementary School in their district. The district says this is not the case. The school is located in District 3.
