Man Arrested After Ramming Police Car

Colorado Springs police have arrested a man after he rammed a police car.

Police say they tried to stop a stolen car when the driver raced through a parking lot, barely missing one police car and hitting another. The driver, identified by police as Timothy Hartig, tried to run away but was arrested.

Police say they found a gun and items reported stolen inside the car Hartig was driving.

The incident occurred near San Miguel and Academy.
