A man wanted on multiple felony warrants was arrested after a domestic disturbance call.

Colorado Springs police said they arrested 29-year-old Richard Quintanna after being called to a residence on the 1500 block of Eagle View Drive in Colorado Springs just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said when they arrived, Quintanna was hiding in the attic of the home. Officers surrounded the house as they tried to make contact with Quintanna.

Police were able to communicate with the suspect through a vent. They said he claimed to have a gun and possible explosives.

After more than two hours at the scene, a negotiator was able to convince Quintanna to give himself up. He was arrested without further incident at about 7:45 p.m.

The 1500 block of Eagle View Drive in Colorado Springs was shut down during the incident.

Police said no weapons or explosives were found.
