Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A Colorado Springs police officer spotted a truck that was reported stolen Thursday afternoon. When the officer tried to pull over the driver near Platte Avenue and Circle Drive, the driver tried to ram the officer’s squad car before driving away.
The man reportedly got out of the truck a short distance away and ran into an auto body shop on Platte Place. He tried to escape by getting on the roof of a building next door, where police chased him and used a stun gun to stop him.
Mark Sticka, 45, was arrested at the scene.
Sticka will be charged with attempted first-degree assault on a peace officer, vehicular eluding, and motor vehicle theft. Police also say Sticka was previously wanted in connection to a felony menacing case.
